What’s in a name? Monaco: evokes beauty, luxury, sophistication, wealth – add a sprinkling of superyachts and you have the Monaco Yacht Show.
From 25 – 28 September 2019, anybody who is anybody in the superyacht industry will be in Port Hercules, attending the most glamorous event in the superyacht calendar.
It is the ultimate showcase for the industry movers and shakers in the superyacht world – designers, shipyards, brokers, influencers, advisors, and perhaps most importantly – existing or potential buyers and charterers.
On show will be 125 one-off super and mega yachts, 40 of which will be new builds, making their world-wide debut at the show. However, since its initiation in 1991, the focus of the show has expanded to include toys, tenders, luxury goods, prestige cars, helicopters and private jets.
There are several experiences to be enjoyed at the show: the Sapphire VIP experience, the Upper Deck Lounge and Starboard, both dedicated to luxury goods exhibitions and restaurants and the Captains and Crews Lounge – a meeting place from breakfast to live afterwork music.
One of the 580 exhibitors is BYD – Balearic Yacht Destination. Here they will be promoting the Balearic Islands as a major destination for superyachts, its professional companies dedicating themselves to catering to all the needs that superyachts have – repair and refit, rigging, painting, management, brokerage, marinas; not to mention the fabulous countryside, culture and gastronomy, nor the numerous social and leisure activities available. It is also a good opportunity to encourage co-working and to meet other international companies. They will also be promoting the Palma Boat Show and the Palma Superyacht Show which take place April 29th – May 3rd, 2020.
