The Balearic Nautical Association will have stands at BOOT Düsseldorf Fair through two of its prominent partners, Port Adriano and Alcudiamar
BOOT Düsseldorf is a well-known International Nautical Fair specialised in Water Sports and this year Balearic Islands Destination will be attending. This event will be one of many international promotions in 2020.
Port Adriano and Alcudiamar, part of the Balearic Yacht Destination Assosication, will have a stand at BOOT Dusseldorf, a Fair that continues to grow in importance and size (220,000 m2+). This year a new pavilion opens (Hall 1) which increases its portfolio even further: Navigation Centre, Superyacht Area, Refitting or Repair areas, Travel, Diving, Paddleboarding and more. The amount of attendees has already increased (250,000+) which brings interest and helps to promote the high quality nautical activities available in the Balearic Islands.
There are more than 2,000 companies participating in this year’s event. The Balearic Marinas have an outstanding offer for medium and large size (+ 30m) yachts, represented by Alcudiamar, Marina Ibiza and Port Adriano who are developing important promotional work in a key market. Germany remains an important country where a number of nautical consumers reside. Marinas, services and refitting companies belonging to the Balearic Yacht Destination Association will be prsented to the German public within the event and in the promotions surrounding it. Port Adriano will present an attractive proposal for Events for 2020 at its stand (B61 in Hall 6). There will also be a range of activities including: regattas, complementary offers, gastronomic festivals, cinematographic and photographic events, shopping tourism, and more. Alcudiamar will also have a stand (13B73 in Hall 13) in the area assigned to State Ports. Germany is a home market for many visitors who appreciate the beauty of this port and the wide range of activities and events organised by the port throughout the year. Marina Ibiza will present an outstanding commercial development: a new luxury shopping area and renewed event schedule targeting this tourism sector, who appreciates differentiated offers from Ibiza Marina.
Respect for the environment in Balearic Islands Nautical sector
The members of the Balearic Yacht Destination Association are developing actions in a growing number of areas to preserve the ocean and respect the environment. Valuable solidarity and environmental conservation actions which with BOOT Düsseldorf are being developed. Through the Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation and the German Ocean Foundation, a new edition of “Ocean Tribute” awards will be held. This edition has an increased number of awards with the objective of rewarding initiatives that meet the objective to preserve the oceans. They are aiming to use the sea and marine resources in a sustainable manner, sticking to the framework of United Nations sustainability.
